snook nook

She does not stay in regular hours, but in and out. She said she is going out of business and going to try something else. Don't know if she has told all of her consignment people this, but I would be picking up my stuff.
Yes, if there are indications that it is closing, definitely get out before a consignment store closes it's doors. I got burned badly by a local consignment owner. I had a lot of good clothing with a local shop with the agreement that if the items didn't sell, she would contact me and I would come and pick them up. She closed with no notice, never asked if I wanted to pick up my stuff and she kept the money that had been taken in for the items that had sold. I know that I'm not the only one that got burned. I'm sure that she also took the tax writeoff for her huge donation of all the inventory to the Goodwill. When I ran into her out and about she didn't even have the good grace to apologize. Dishonorable person, at best.
She told me at Krogers the other night if she closed she would make sure everyone got back their stuff and if anyone was owed money she would pay them if she decides to close . She said the reason she had not been open a lot since it got cold was because she had a outdoor stove which she thought would heat the buildong and it wasn't doing very well at heating the building and after all the money she had spent on the stove she could not afford another source of heat right now but as far as she knew right now she would open back up when it was warmer and was planning on installing gas to heat with . She is a sweet and honest person .

I was told the same about why it had been so cold this winter. But she told me that she was going to close the store. So, I guess she told us two completely different things.
Sadly, I never would have believed that the owner that screwed me would have done that, either. I really liked her, we'd had several long pleasant personal chats and I trusted her. Unfortunately, in this case, my judge of character was dead wrong. I'll never be that trusting in business again. Business owners have only one loyalty, the almighty $$$.

What on earth are you talking about? I said NOTHING about your daughter, I don't even know your daughter, nor have I been in her shop. Didn't even know where it was. I was telling about my personal experience with a consignment store that went out of business and cautioning people to watch out for their own interest, moncler pas cher, as no one else will. There is absolutely nothing wrong with that. Geez, go jump down someone else's throat!

If you don't know my daughter or her shop why do you keep getting on here and commenting ? I think all these post are from the same person except well and hold it . And I think that person is YOU !!! LEAVE HER ALONE
What is your problem lady? How can I leave her alone? I don't know her and I have not made one single comment about her or directed toward her. You are certifiably insane if you think otherwise, simply ready my posts will prove my words. You are obviously not familiar with the "location" aspect of Topix posts. Simply looking at the locations shows that there are multiple people posting. I have made no posts on this thread others than those with my name of "Careful" and those were NOT about your daughter, but rather an attempt to let people know what can be happened when a consignment business closes in the hopes that the information might help others avoid some grief. I'd never even heard of the Snook Nook until I read this forum. And for the record, the reason I keep commenting is in response to your personal attacks on ME. Contrary to your narcisstic belief, not everything posted on Topix, or even this thread, is about you or your daughter! Grow up!

I have every right to comment on any thread on Topix. In this case, it is something I do know about, specifically what can happen to a consignor when shop closes unexectedly. I tried to offer some helpful information that consignors might benefit from. Again, I have never said anything about the Snook Nook, only offered my own experience in the hope that it might help someone else not get burned. The mere fact that you are reacting the way you are speaks volumes. Please reread my first two posts and you will see there is nothing about your daughter's business in there and nothing derogatory about her whatsoever.

I am not going to answer you anymore let me tell you this it is a good thing I don't know who you are . I think you are a crazy b who loves the attention you get when you post on topix. I also think you are a coward you use a fake name so you can say wherever you want and no one will know who you are . When I get on topix and have something to say I use MY NAME so just post away I am not going to answer you anymore and yes I could get all this about snook nook taken off topix but I am going to because people who know my daughter knows she is sweet and very honest
